The Arlington Hackers is a 30+ year weekend drop-in tradition at the Arlington courts. Last year we lost one of our most active members, Vinnie Bui, to cancer. This October, we celebrated his love for tennis and life with a celebration and bench plaque dedication. Vinnie lit up the courts with his unique brand of humor and antics, and impressed us all with his love for his adopted country. His memory lives on through his goofy sayings, which have been adopted as weekly banter on the Hacker courts.
The club's annual mixed doubles tournament was held on Sunday, September 18. Again this year we had three divisions playing in three locations. Congratulations to all who played!
